Real Street Fonts, Not Emoji Substitutes
Thumbnails, beat tapes, and wall mockups need authentic spray and marker shapes — not faux Unicode. This studio renders real TTF/OTF files from public/fonts/Graffiti with chrome depth, neon glow, and motion you can ship as GIF, WebM, or transparent PNG.
License reminder: Several bundled faces include “personal use only” in the filename. You are responsible for checking each font’s license before commercial use.
How to Use
- Type a short tag — crew name, beat title, or event headline.
- Open Script → Local to search all Graffiti folder fonts, or Google for marker and wild-style alternates.
- Open Looks for Neon Alley / Chrome Drip presets or Quick start workflows (YouTube tag, hip-hop thumb, TikTok vertical).
- Set Motion, preview on checkerboard if you need transparency, then export.
Every Font in the Graffiti Folder
The Local grid lists all 12 faces currently in the folder — from classic throw-ups to drip and wildstyle cuts. Search by name, preview the description blurb, and switch fonts without reloading the page. Drop new files into the folder, run npm run generate:graffiti-fonts, and redeploy to expose them in the picker.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What is the Graffiti Font Generator?
- It is a browser-based motion studio for street-style lettering — crew tags, beat video titles, skate graphics, and Discord stickers. Type your headline, pick any font from public/fonts/Graffiti, stack chrome or neon looks, add motion, then export GIF, WebM, PNG, or CSS without installing desktop apps.
- Which graffiti fonts are included?
- The Script tab’s Local picker loads every font file in public/fonts/Graffiti — currently 12 bundled faces including Graffiti City, Aerosoldier, Urban Heroes, Docallisme Street, and Adrip1. Add more .ttf or .otf files to that folder and run npm run generate:graffiti-fonts to refresh the searchable grid.
- Can I use Google Fonts with graffiti styles?
- Yes. Switch Script → Google to search 1,940+ families. Permanent Marker is the default marker-style fallback; Bangers, Rubik Spray Paint, and other display faces work when you need Latin extended weights without uploading files.
- How is this different from the Graffiti Tag Text Generator?
- The Tag Text Generator page targets quick static tag searches. This Graffiti Font Generator is the full motion studio — 19 animation presets, YouTube and TikTok canvas workflows, GIF/WebM export, CSS/HTML handoff, and a dedicated Graffiti folder catalog you can extend.
- How is this different from the Animated Text Generator?
- Animated Text pulls from hundreds of categories with neutral presets. This page is tuned for graffiti font and street tag intent — orange/lime/chrome palettes, throw-up depth defaults, hip-hop and alley workflows, and only fonts from your Graffiti folder plus Google alternates.
- How is this different from the Chicano Lettering Generator?
- Chicano Lettering focuses on lowrider script and blackletter folders with chrome pinstripe presets. This tool uses the Graffiti folder (throw-ups, drip, wildstyle starters) and presets aimed at hip-hop, skate, and wall-tag thumbnails — not Old English chrome.
- What design and motion presets are available?
- There are 19 motion presets and 12 design looks including Neon Alley, Chrome Drip, Throw-Up Yellow, Wildstyle Purple, Hip-Hop Gold, and Sticker White. Quick starts on the Looks tab cover YouTube tags, hip-hop thumbnails, TikTok vertical, Discord GIFs, and transparent merch mockups.
- Can I export animated GIF or WebM?
- Yes. Loop GIFs for stickers and stories, or WebM for editors like Premiere and DaVinci. Use checkerboard preview for alpha-friendly tags. Encoding runs locally in your browser with a five-second cap to keep exports smooth.
- Can I download the raw font files?
- Yes. The download section serves the actual .ttf/.otf files for each bundled Graffiti folder face (12 today). Many files are personal-use only — read filenames and verify licenses before selling merch or client work.
- Will adding fonts to the folder update the tool automatically?
- Add files under public/fonts/Graffiti, run npm run generate:graffiti-fonts, and redeploy. The Script tab search grid picks up new ids without code changes.
- Does this work for non-English characters?
- Local Graffiti fonts include only the glyphs shipped in each file — the editor warns if your text uses missing characters. Google Fonts mode supports many scripts when you pick a family with broader coverage.
- Does this respect reduced motion?
- Yes. When your system prefers reduced motion, preview playback and export timing adjust so animations do not force unnecessary movement.
